Which flights can I Check-in for?


All routes operated by LAN offer the option of using the online Check-in service via LAN.com – through which you can choose your seat and obtain your boarding pass – with the exception of the following Pre-checkable routes:

  • To and from the United States
  • From Madrid to Santiago
  • From Frankfurt to Santiago
  • Santiago - Havana - Santiago
  • From Madrid to Guayaquil
  • From Madrid to Quito
  • From Madrid to Lima

Pre-checkable routes:

Pre-check-in allows you to select your seat but not to check in via LAN.com. On these routes (*), revision of the required travel documents is more rigorous, which is why it is necessary for you to arrive at the airport Check-in counter with the necessary travel documents.

Important: routes made available commercially by LAN, but operated by other airlines, do not allow for online check-in or pre-check-in via LAN.com. Step 3 of the purchasing process allows you to verify the airline operating your flight.

Step 3 of purchasing

The Auckland/Sydney route does not allow for pre-check-in or seat selection, as the Check-in is done directly via Qantas' system.
