Redeem an award

Flights Beginning August 1, 2007, the amount of kilometers needed for free ticket exchanges have gone down for good!! Tickets to fly in LAN Now, exchanging your kilometers is even easier. Check the "Recommended Destinations" page for the best destinations and dates for redeeming your reward tickets. Do you know how many kilometers do you need to redeem an award? Every time you redeem your LANPASS awards at LAN offices or through our Call Center you must pay a service fee for every award redeemed. This charge varies according to the award redeemed and is charged additionally to the taxes, surcharges and other charges. If you redeem your award at LAN.com, you can save the service fee because ¡the service fee for redeeming your LANPASS awards at LAN.com is FREE!

IMPORTANT, before requesting an award ...

• Consider airport taxes. LANPASS awards, just as paid tickets, have airport taxes included, and these should be paid when requesting an award. For your convenience, you can pay taxes online with your credit card in the third step of the award process.
  
• Remember your user name and password. To obtain an award ticket, you should input your user name (or LANPASS number) and your password. If you don´t remember or don´t have a password, click here
  
  
• Buy the kilometers which you lack for obtaining an award ticket. If you don´t have enough kilometers for the award ticket you have selected, remember that you can buy them online, paying with your credit card. Buy kms online
  

And remember that ...

• Tickets to fly in LAN lasts 6 months for domestic flights and 1 year for international flights, from the issue date.
  
  

• Given the complexity of the itineraries, connections and combination involved, the following reward categories can only be collected by contacting the LANPASS Call Center or your travel agent. This categories are:
  
  - Reward tickets with oneworld airlines
  - Reward tickets with LANPASS-affiliated airlines
  - Upgrading with kilometers: This reward requires you to have a paid ticket and therefore cannot be collected online.
  - Other awards that involve flying in LAN (tickets with one or more destinations, combining different airlines or including routes that can´t be requested online)
