As a member of our Frequent Flyer Program, you can earn LANPASS kilometers by flying with any oneworld alliance airline. You can also exchange these kilometers for reward tickets to any of LANPASS/oneworld's nearly 700 destinations worldwide.

Children aged two and up can become LANPASS Members and begin earning kilometers.
All people over the age of two can are eligible, regardless of their nationality or place of residence.

LANPASS has a minimum standard of 800 kilometers for LAN flights and flights with our affiliate airlines. That is to say, you will always earn a minimum of 800 kilometers every time you fly even if the actual distance flown in less than that. The mimimum kilometer earning benefit is not valid for LAN flights within Argentina.

Yes, all flights allow you to earn LANPASS kilometers (to varying degrees).
1. When making reservations/purchasing your ticket: When making
reservations or purchasing your ticket, you can provide your member number
and request that your kilometers be counted. At www.lan.com,
you can enter your member number during the step where you are asked to enter
your passenger information.
2. At the counter: The easiest way to ensure that your kilometers
are accredited is to provide your member number at the check-in counter before
each flight, requesting that your kilometers be counted.
Provide your member number at the check-in counter when flying with LAN or
any LANPASS-affiliated airline.
Your member number will be printed on the bottom of your barding pass with
the code LA, which means that your kilometers with by registered on your LANPASS
Account.
3. After flying: If you forgot to provide your LANPASS member number at the counter or when you purchased your ticket, you can request the accreditation of your kilometers via the LANPASS Call Center.
You may earn kilometers by flying with our affiliate airlines under the same conditions as with LAN, save for certain exceptions.

Generally, LANPASS kilometers earned on LAN flights will appear on your Account Statement within the 48 hours following the flight. Kilometers earned on flights with our affiliate airlines can take up to 30 days.
LANPASS Members can also earn kilometers by using the services of our 20,000+ associate businesses around the world. LANPASS Members earn kilometers by:
Kilometers earned by flying are valid for a period of 36 months after they
are earned. Kilometers earned by using the services of LANPASS-associated
businesses are valid for three calendar years.
Independent of the limitations stated above, if you fly with LAN at least
once every 36 months, your kilometers will not expire. Rather, they will be
renewed for another 36 months.
The primary use of LANPASS kilometers is to exchange them for tickets to
the more than 700 worldwide destinations the program offers thanks to its
affiliation with the oneworld
alliance.

In order to obtain and maintain Elite membership, you must meet one of the two following requirements every calendar year (between January 1 and December 31):

1. Applicable to fares, routes and travel dates that allow for the earning
of LANPASS kilometers.
2. Class bonus: When flying with LAN, you will receive a bonus equal to
50 percent of the total distance traveled if you are flying First Class.
If you are flying Executive Class, the bonus is 25 percent.
3. Segment: A direct flight between two cities
If you start an Elite membership in 2008, then your membership will last until March 31, 2009.
This way, you can take advantage of your benefits until March 31 of the following year, in addition to the official category period, which begins on April 1 of the year following the year in which you joined and continues through March 31 of the subsequent year.
You can become an Elite member as soon as you've earned enough kilometers or flown enough segments, provided you meet the requirements before December of this year.
Once you qualify, you will receive your Elite Welcome Pack within 30 days. The pack contains:
Tip: If you fly before receiving your Elite Pack, most of the benefits will be recognized regardless! Simply inform the LAN representative behind the Premium Category counter and provide your member number.
You can request a new membership card to replace the one you lost. To do this, simply contact our Call Center and request a replacement card.
Valid kilometers are those earned through LAN flights, oneworld flights and flights with LANPASS-affiliate airlines and those earned for Cabin class bonuses on LAN flights.
