LAN offers its passengers Special Services to make flying with us as comfortable as possible. Following please find the list of Special Services LAN has to offer.

Moses basket/Crib

Application

Provides passengers traveling with infants with a basket-like crib to be attached to the aircraft’s wall paneling.

General Information

Offered as a special service on flights employing 767, A320 and A340 aircraft. Must be requested from Sales Service at least 24 hours before the flight as the number of cribs is limited and varies from flight to flight.

The availability service can only be pre-confirmed in Tourist cabin classes that permit advance seat assignment. Otherwise, availability of the service will depend on the seating availability at the time of billing.

If there are not enough available seats, the rest of the family members will be relocated to seats available for reservation. Every effort should be made to avoid leaving children unaccompanied by an adult family member and to seating an adult family member as close as possible to the infant.

Only infants weighing less than to 7 kilos (15 pounds) and measuring less than 71 cm (28 inches) in height can use the crib. These standards have been established to ensure the safety and comfort of the infant.

The location of the passengers is administered by the department of special services in accordance with the availability of seats and the characteristics of the aircraft.
